Twitch App won't install Minecraft. Tech Support. No matter what I do, no matter what the hell I change the directory to, it never fucking works. I just want to play Sky Factory with my friends because suddenly every good modpack uses this crappy twitch app, but it just doesn't want to install the damn game first.
This tutorial will show you how to copy a modified Minecraft instance from the Twitch/Curse client to MultiMC.. Now why would I want to do that, some may ask. I believe that there are a variety of reasons to play using MultiMC instead: I used Twitch app to download FTB mod and launched minecraft. Selected forge profile but only crashes. The problem is ATLauncher doesn't download the newest versions of Forge and/or akka-actor files. so you need to side force download them via minecraft itself. Of course some people won't have this problem or may get this problem later once the mods have moved on to the newest forge version etc.

Twitch won't install Minecraft | > >>| 1; 2; Next #1 Aug 31, 2019. anopentab. it hangs in the launcher log which is weird because as of 2 weeks ago It was working perfectly fine I uninstalled both twitch and Minecraft leaving no traces of either on the pc and updated java and then reinstalled normal Minecraft then twitch and the modpacks If you have a Modpack that needs to be updated you will see a little download arrow icon next to the PLAY button in the Minecraft sections of the Twitch App. Clicking on this will popup a window with the version you want to install, Changelog, and if you want to make the updated version a new profile.
