Sims share file download multiple files at once

So I was wondering if on the Sims 4 you could have multiple save files like you could with the other 2 games. I have other people in my family who play the Sims, and we don't want to have to share a neighbourhood and have someone else's family growing older while they play theirs. Or is it linked with origin accounts? and we each need our own for our own neighbourhoods.
